Aman Environmental Construction was contracted to perform the complete surface demolition and crushing of Building 525, Hangar A located in Tustin, CA. The project site was approximately 600 acres, mostly comprising of concrete/asphalt pavement and open land.

The structure demolished was the former Bldg. 525, Hangar A – a clear span steel framed small hangar and two-story steel framed office area with concrete/metal deck, with 9 foot concrete block exterior wall.  The structure was approximately 184 feet by 115 feet in plan.  The hangar side of the structure was 54 feet in height and the office area was 37 feet in height.

Some highlights included: building and slab on grade demolition, fencing, dust control, waste management, concrete and asphalt recycling.
